BEVERIDGE – Wilma C., 94, formerly of Sidman, died April 18, 2021, at McCullough Place, Westmont; surrounded by loving family. Born December 13, 1926, in Dunlo, daughter of Emile E. and Alice (Bruett) Folmer. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 65 years, Norman J. Beveridge, who died December 10, 2012; sister, Theona V. (Folmer) Miller; and brother, Byron Q. “Bucky” Folmer.
Survived by daughter, Tomma Lee, wife of John Furst, Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania; son, N. Curtis, married to Carrie (Moller), Spokane, Washington; grandchildren, Eric Furst, married to Teresa (Chang), Philadelphia; Shannon Furst, Weston, Florida; Jonathan Beveridge, married to Rachel (Bolen), Clermont, Florida; and Bryan Sauter, married to Jocelyn (McNeel), Johnstown; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Chloe Furst; Daniel Manautines; and Jameson Beveridge; brother-in-law, Raymond Costlow, Granada Hills, California; and niece, Carol (Miller), wife of Donald Sauter, St. Michael.
Wilma was a graduate of Adams Township High School, class of 1945 and was a lifelong member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Sidman. She worked at the Ebensburg State Center, Agway, and ended her working years as an assistant to the Librarian at Forest Hills High School. Wilma enjoyed traveling, especially her trip to Switzerland with her family. Together with her husband and son, Curtis, she camped all across the United States. Following retirement she and Norman spent 29 years traveling to Florida as “snow birds” where they cultivated many lasting friendships. More recently she was a member of the Graystone community where she enjoyed the company of dear friends and playing games. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with family, sharing stories of the past and creating new memories to cherish. Her positive attitude and caring nature was an inspiration to family and friends and leaves a lasting legacy to all who were blessed to know her.
Friends will gather from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday April 24, 2021 at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork; Vicar Christy Harford presiding.
Inurnment, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown.
