Wanda E. Wirick

WIRICK – Wanda E., 67, Mineral Point, died June 13, 2021, at home. Born February 17, 1954, in Mineral Point, daughter of William P. and Sadie Mae (Bailey) Goughnour. Preceded in death by parents; son, Jeremiah J. Wirick; grandson, Coty Wyant; and brother, James Goughnour.

Survived by husband Cloyd Wirick III, whom she married June 23, 1973; children, Renee, wife of Scott VonNeida, Montour Falls, New York; Cloyd IV, Mineral Point; and Elizabeth, wife of Wayne Wiley, Hooversville; grandchildren, Casey, Alana, Alexandria, wife of Henry Deabenderfer, Victoria, Kassandra, Kaitlyn, and Wayne Jr.; great – granddaughter, Brelyn; brother, Danny, married to Barbara (Langford), York; sister, Paulette, wife of Chris Nesbitt, Mineral Point; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Margaret Lucas, Richland; in-laws, Linda (Wirick) and Barry McDowell, Mechanicsburg; Brenda (Wirick) Laughrey, Surfside Beach, South Carolina; Dwight and Joan Wirick, Carlisle; Margaret (Lucas) and Mark Rodak, Camp Hill; Helen (Lucas) and Ray Cuervo, Manassas, Virginia; and Bobbi Sue (Lucas) Kuntz, Richland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wanda was a graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 1972 and was known as a dedicated and compassionate L.P.N. during her career at Conemaugh Hospital.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, Pastor Mark Fischer, presiding. Interment, Dunmyer Cemetery, Salix.
