Vivian Glacken

GLACKEN – Vivian, 94, Westlake, Ohio; formerly of Richland Township, passed December 29, 2024. Born September 17, 1930, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents; Adolph and Margaret (Arbatosky) Matunis; husband, Glenn C. “Tom” Glacken, who died March 25, 2018; and brother, Anthony Matunis. 

Survived by daughters, Deborah L. Glacken of North Ridgeville, Ohio; and Jennifer, wife of Stephen Lesinski of Virginia Beach, Virginia; cherished grandsons, Adam and wife Danielle, Thomas, and Luke Lesinski and wife Emily; and brother, Ralph Matunis, married to Kay McQuillen.

Viv grew up in Portage and moved to Richland after marrying “Tom.” She was a fulltime wife and mother. Viv enjoyed crafting, puzzles, playing cards, and reading. After Tom’s retirement they spent many years traveling with Kay and Ralph visiting the national parks and attractions in the country. Of course, they always found time to stop at the casinos! She enjoyed a good joke or prank and sometimes laughed until she cried. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
