Thomas Hilary Sliko

SLIKO – Thomas Hilary, 57, Fifficktown, died unexpectedly December 31, 2017, and will join our Lord God, and his departed relatives.

Born May 5, 1960, in Johnstown, son of Frank Joseph “Funchie” Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Petro) Sliko. Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Frank Joseph Sliko Jr.

Survived by beloved daughters, Danielle Elizabeth and Donelle Ann Sliko, St. Michael; brother, Robert Alan Sr., married to Judith Ann (Bero) Sliko; and their sons, Bobby Jr. and Matt, all of Laurel, Maryland; and numerous other special family and friends.

Tom was a graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech, class of 1978 and earned an associate’s degree from Mount Aloysius College. He was a talented auto mechanic, and especially enjoyed customizing cars and sharing the history of Fifficktown with others. He always tried his best to be a strong advocate for his autistic daughters and will forever be remembered for his good nature, warm heart and eagerness to lend a hand.

Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until time of service at noon Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, by Father Joseph C. Nale.

Committal, St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Fifficktown.
