Sylvia M. Wilson

WILSON – Sylvia M., 86, South Fork, died April 1, 2019, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born July 11, 1932, in Beaverdale. Preceded in death by parents, Stanley and Helen (Fetsko) Simanovich; and sister, Martha Simanovich.

Survived by daughters, Debra, wife of Dennis Bailey, South Fork; Sandra, wife of Gerald Ross Sr., Edinburg, Virginia; and Marcella Wilson, Salix; son, Jeffry Wilson, Gerard, Pennsylvania; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and brother, Ronald Simanovich and wife, Donna, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.

Member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, South Fork; and the South Fork Women’s Club. Sylvia was a retired seamstress from Empire Foundations with over 40 years of service. She was an avid reader, enjoyed bowling and spent many hours among friends at card club.

Friends will be received from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Father Joseph C. Nale, Celebrant.
