Shirley Hogan

HOGAN - Shirley, 86, The Villages, Florida, formerly of South Fork. Went to be with the Lord, January 30, 2017. Born March 8, 1930, in South Fork, daughter of Russell and Ruth (Myers) Wicks. Preceded in death by parents, husband, John “Jack” Hogan, who died August 3, 2000; sister, Lois May and brother, Russell Wicks.

Although Shirley had many ties and fond memories of South Fork, she moved to Florida to be near her beloved niece, Patti, wife of John Maury. She is also survived by her niece, Bonnie Yetsko; and nephews, Rick and wife Susan May, Jack May; Terry Wicks; and Dave, Jeff and Brian Arnold; special great niece Kimberly Baczynski and numerous other great nieces and nephews. Also best friend Janet Box; and cousin Elizabeth Wilson.

She enjoyed housekeeping, reading, sewing, and doing crafts.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, the Rev. Arlene Bobrowicz officiating.

Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery.
