Satin Tanula Schrift

Schrift - Satin Tanula, 58, New Germany, passed away peacefully after a prolonged battle with cancer on June 25, 2024, with her husband, children, and brother by her side. Born April 2, 1966 in Johnstown, daughter of Anthony and Larmelva (Schultz) Lemonovich. 

Preceded in death by parents; maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Helen Schultz; grandson, John-Paul Schrift; brother-in-law, Thomas Schrift; nephews, Michael Schrift and Logan Lemonovich.

Satin was the loving wife of 39 years to Paul Schrift; endearing mother of Heather (Jonathan) Hale and Anthony (Meghan) Schrift; proud grandmother of Garrison and Hadley Hale, Ethan and Emery Schrift; brother, Brad (Vera) Lemonovich; in-laws David and Elener Schrift; brother-in-laws, Joseph Schrift, Raymond (Deborah) Schrift; sister-in-laws, Virginia Schrift and Vickie (Kevin) Wirfel; her “bff” Gerri Lynn Mock. She is also survived by numerous beloved nieces, nephews and special friends, Danielle Mishler and Carol Fulton. 

Satin was employed by B & K Enterprises of Strongstown as a Project Coordinator for 14 years. She was appreciative of all the support provided by her co-workers and friends during her illness.

Satin enjoyed spending time with her family, she was most proud of her grandchildren and cherished being with them. She loved family game night, watching dirt track racing, crocheting, and motorcycle rides with her husband.

Friends will be received from 1 PM until time of service at 7 PM Thursday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, the Reverend Tim Dietrich officiating. Committal, St. Mary Cemetery, New Germany.
