Sandi was a 1958 Graduate of Adams Summerhill High School. After high school with a desire to see the world she became a reservationist with Air France and spent time in Chicago, Minneapolis and Los Angeles, as well as traveling abroad, before returning to Summerhill . She married Ray and perhaps took on the biggest adventure of her life becoming an instant mother to six children. She and Ray had two more children and she was a loving mother to all of them. Small in stature, she was more than able to hold her own and was respected and loved by all of her children. She was also instrumental in starting Ray's Lawnmower Sales and Service with Ray and was the bookkeeper for many years. Even though a large part of her life was devoted to her family, she was always up for fun! First on the dance floor and last to leave. Sandi loved to travel and was always looking for a new trip and adventure with her friends. She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Summerhill, their Rosary Altar Society, and life member of Summerhill Boro Volunteer Fire Company. Sandi was also known for her green thumb when it came to African Violets, Amaryllis, and Christmas Cactus, and yes the Amaryllis are in full bloom!
