Russell J. Brummert

BRUMMERT – Russell J., 87, New Germany, passed peacefully with family by his side March 19, 2025. Born May 12, 1937, in Summerhill, son of the late Raymond H. and Viola M. (Boland) Brummert.

Survived by wife of 67 years, Brenda (Grigg); son, Jeffrey (Joan Krug) and children, Michael (Ashley), Brian (Lisa), Craig (Sarah), and Kevin (Samantha); son, Allen (Clara Miller), and children, Nathaniel (Courtney), Damien, Evan (Mary), and Jonathan (Shanny); son, Thomas (Sharon Probst) and children, Brandon (Becca), Shaun, and Jadyn; daughter, Carol Kee (Bill Berger) and children, Christopher, Elisabeth (Jonas), and Jonathan Kee; daughter, Cristen (John Carson) and children, Sarah (Stephen) and Brian Cornell; great grandchildren, Olivia, Royce, Luke, Anthony, Warren, Flynn, Grace, Caroline, August, Casey, Louise, Russell, and Corbin.

Brother of Terry Brummert and the late Dolores Rager, Marlene Lumb, Joan Bruno, and David Brummert.

Russell was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a graduate of South Fork Croyle High School, class of 1955. He worked as an instrument technician for Bechtel Corp. His family meant the world to him and he was very proud of their accomplishments. His favorite times were with family for the holidays and reunions. He will be deeply missed by all of us.
