Rich was a graduate of Richland High School, class of 1967; and earned his bachelor’s degree from Mansfield State Teachers College in 1971. His career as a teacher with the Richland School District was a source of deep pride and personal fulfillment. A part of his legacy will always be the many students he inspired. He was extremely proud of his children and loved boasting about them. Happiest in the company of family and friends; he enjoyed golfing, camping trips, and fishing and hunting.

Arrangements by Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. Honoring his wishes, there will be no public viewing or service. We will forever cherish his fun-loving nature and embrace the memory of his wonderful spirit.

As an expression of sympathy, please consider memorial donations to Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The family is grateful to the staff of Interim Hospice for their wonderful care; and a special thank you to Jenna and Stacey, they are truly a blessing.
