BAER – Rev. Robert “Bob,” 82, Geistown, went to be with the Lord, March 3, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 11, 1933, in Clearfield, son of the late Haven and Ida (Smith) Baer. Survived by loving wife of 59 years, Janice M. (Brock) Baer, who he married July 14, 1956; daughters, Darlene, wife of Keith Krumenacker, Portage; Nadine, wife of Danny Wilson, Abbottstown, Pa.; Marlene, wife of Richard Cameron, Johnstown; Charlene, wife of Randy Jewart, Natrona Heights; and Arlene, wife of Charles Crouch, Coal Center; 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; and sister, Sibbie, wife of Duane Rowles, Clearfield. Bob was a graduate of Clearfield High School and Nyack College, Nyack, N.Y. As a faithful and dedicated servant of God, he sought to share the love of Christ with others. His legacy to all who knew him will continue through his values and integrity, generous personality and compassion. Friends will be received at Johnstown Alliance Church, 100 Arbutus Ave., from 1 p.m. until time of Going Home Service at 4 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Paul Cope, officiating.
