PLUMMER - Raymond Charles Sr., 70, Ehrenfeld, died peacefully April 21, 2019, surrounded by loving family at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born March 12, 1949, in Johnstown, son of Mirrel and Ellen (Hebden) Plummer.
Preceded in death by parents; 2 infant brothers; and brothers, Thomas, Robert, Mirrel, Roy and Kenneth. Survived by former wife, Diane (Potter) Plummer, and their children, Raymond (Denise), Richie, Joseph and James (Anne); grandchildren, Harley, Judson, Richie, Austin, Evan, Luke, Keean, Tyesha, Dereck, Noah and one on the way; wife, Dorothy (Siverinac) Plummer, whom he married May 14, 1988; and their children, Anthony, Sara and Samantha; sister, Ellen (Ken) Dixon; brother, James (Patricia); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Raymond was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a retired aide from the Altoona / Ebensburg Center with 25 years of service and served his community as Mayor of Ehrenfeld.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday April 23, at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday April 24.
Interment, Mount Olive Cemetery.
Military graveside service by St. Michael American Legion Post 551.
