Phyllis L. Smith

SMITH – Phyllis L. (Glacken), 92, South Fork, went home to Heaven December 22, 2024. Born June 3, 1932, in South Fork. Preceded in death by parents, James R. and Barbara Ann “Annie” (Berkey) Glacken; husband, Robert F. Smith, who died March 14, 2009; sisters, Dorothy Sell, Thelma Steele, and Patricia Bencosky; and brothers, James, Warren, and Charles.

Survived by youngest sister, Barbara Oswalt; sons, Robert A., married to Lisa (Taylor); and Craig; grandchildren, Josh, Brock, Katelynn, and Justina; and great grandchildren, Jacob, Bryson, Isabelle, Lukas, Mason, Nora, and Jameson.

Phyllis was a lifetime member of South Fork First Evangelical Church. She was a talented seamstress and was the best Grandma ever!

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025, at South Fork Evangelical Church, the Reverend Randy Landman presiding.
