Paul L. Borelle

BORELLE – Paul L., 76, Elton, died December 28, 2024. Born April 21, 1948, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents, Frank G. and Edwina Jane (Whited) Borelle; first wife, Saundra (Parker) Borelle; sisters, Sandi Borelle and Sharon Mills; brother-in-law, Jerry Mills; and daughter, Stacy Marie Smay.

Survived by wife, Elinora M. (Bopp) Borelle; children, Shayne Borelle (Shannon Rummell); Shawn Borelle; Kelly (Bryan Smith) and Jodi Ellis; grandchildren, Jory, Ashley, Hope, Sandi, PJ, Tylen, Amaiah, Kaylei, and Silas; great grandchildren, Kalani, Camryn, and Zoey; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved yellow lab, Sammi.

Paul lived a life of service, hard work, and adventure. With a deep sense of duty he served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. As a millwright he took pride in building and maintaining machinery with precision and craftsmanship. He was a talented accordion player, enjoyed watching westerns, and listening to classic country music. Whether he was hunting in the woods, fishing by the water, or riding his motorcycle down the open road, he found joy and freedom in the great outdoors. He taught us to follow our dreams, honor our roots, and embrace life to the fullest.
