Norman E. Klein

KLEIN - Norman E., 48, Mt. Hope, died April 29, 2016, at home. Born Dec. 5, 1967 in Corvallis, Ore., son of Evan J. and LaVonne R. (Thron) Klein.

Preceded in death by sister, Mary Ann Mazzarese; niece, Courtney; paternal grandparents John and Mildred (Arrich) Klein; maternal grandparents, Albert and Carol (Mack) Thron and sister-in-law, Kimberly (Grindstaff) Klein.

Survived by parents; Mt. Hope; brothers, Larry, Chesapeake, Va.; Dean, married to Sarah (Grimm), Spokane, Wash.; and sister, Wendy, wife of Greg Schrock, Summerhill; nephews, Nicholas Klein, Zachary Burdick, Evan Klein, and Jordan and Joshua Schrock and numerous other family and friends, especially, Steve Sikora, Mark Myers and Mike Curry.

Known as “Northern Norm” to many, he owned and operated a wholesale beef and meats delivery service. As a talented guitarist he had a passion for music and loved playing with local bands over the years. He enjoyed the outdoors, and was an avid golfer and hunter. He was always willing to help others and to lend a hand. His laughter and kind and generous spirit will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.

Viewing will also be held at Mount Hope United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Joseph Stains, officiating.

Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery.
