MILLER – Mildred M., Mineral Point, 93 years young, went to meet her Savior on Sunday January 24, 2021 and was greeted by family whom she had longed to see again.
Born October 23, 1927, in Vinco, daughter of Roy S. Sr. and Ruth J. (Grove) Varner.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert James “Jim” “RJ” Miller, who died July 24, 2000; brothers, Roy S. “Jim” Jr. and Donald L. Varner; sister, Debra J. Blough; son-in-law, Joel S. Gillin; and brother-in-law, James L. Mendick.
Survived by daughters, Beverly K. Gillin; and Judith A., wife of Thomas White; son, Bruce V. Miller; ten grandchildren, Joy L. White, Jason C. (Jennifer) Gillin, Stacy L. (Will) Polacek, Thomas R. (Louise) White, Ashley M. (Nick) Mastrine, Janell A. (James) Beatty, Melissa Keller, Bruce (Rae) Miller, Isabella and Hunter Miller; twelve great grandchildren, Matthew and Ethan Gillin, Ellory, Parker Hansen and Kellan Martin, Sofia and Dominic Mastrine, Kristen Keller, Owen and Adaline Beatty, and Jet and Jude White; one expected great grandson, Camden; sister, Ruth Ellen Mendick; brothers, Jerry (Sharon) Varner, and Paul Varner; and numerous nieces, nephews, and good friend and caregiver, Val Boring.
Mildred was a life-long member of Singer Hill Grace Brethren Church. She loved going to exercise class, enjoyed driving to visit friends and family, and was a terrific cook, known for her homemade bread and carrot cake.
Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Pastor Geno Bartoletti presiding.
Interment, Rose Hill Cemetery, Mineral Point.
