BAKALE - Mildred Rose, 94, Cleveland Heights, Ohio; formerly of Rockville, Maryland; died January 22, 2021, at The Fountains Assisted Living, Lyndhurst, Ohio. Born March 17, 1926 in Creslo, daughter of Evan and Anna C. (Priselac) Bakale.
Preceded in death by parents; sister, Margaret Cepela; brothers, Edward, Joseph James, Francis, and Louis E. Bakale; and brothers-in-law, Richard Cepela, Dick Haefs, and Anthony Manzella.
Survived by sisters, Carol Haefs, Fairfax, Virginia; Alice Manzella, Hillsborough, New Jersey; and brother, George, married to Margaret (Satink), Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Beloved Aunt of Frank Cepela, Susan Springer, Ann Zieve, Joyce Sherpa, Joe Manzella, Patty Lister, and Brian Haefs; seven great nieces and nephews, a great-great niece and a great-great nephew.
Mildred worked as a clerk for Bruce Variety Store, Bethesda, Maryland; and the Federal Bake Shop, Wheaton, Maryland. Member of Croatian Fraternal Union St. Rochus Lodge 5, Johnstown; and former member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Dunlo; and St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Rockville, Maryland.
Friends will be received from noon until time of service at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Maple Street, South Fork, Monsignor David Lockard presiding.
