KULBACK – Michael Joseph “Mike,” 82, beloved father and grandfather, of South Fork, went to be with his Lord March 19, 2025, at St. Jude’s Haven. Born January 15, 1943, in Johnstown, son of Michael and Anna (Vlasaty) Kulback. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, William F. (Margaret Yestrepsky) and James E. (Helen Wirfel) and nephews, Dino Capretti, and Edward, James, and Dr. David Kulback.
Survived by loving daughter, Krysteen Anne “Krys” Duncan, grandchildren, Dr. Lakyn Husinka – Prosser, wife of Jake Prosser; and Alex and Austin Duncan; sister, Shirley A. Capretti; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mike graduated from Richland High School in 1962. He spent six years serving in the Army National Guard with the 876th Engineer Battalion in Johnstown. For 36 years, he worked as a welder at Bethlehem Steel and Johnstown American Corp. Mike loved camping, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed cars, especially “vettes”, riding his motorcycle, trips to Vegas, and was a loyal Steelers fan. Member of South Fork American Legion Post 653, St. Michael American Legion Post 551, Wilmore Sportsmen’s Association, and Flood City Corvette Club.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Robert Buczak, presiding.
