PETRUNAK - Matthew S. Jr., 87, South Fork, died April 13, 2018, at Forest Hills Personal Care Home. Born November 20, 1930, in South Fork, son of Matthew S. Sr. and Susan (Cashmire) Petrunak. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Dorothy (Plovetsky) Petrunak, who died August 29, 2016; sons, Matthew S. III and Mark Petrunak. Survived by sons, Charles V., and friend, Lucy L. Handfield, Anderson, Indiana; and Matthew S. IV, Ebensburg; two grandchildren; sisters, Agnes Noon, Sidman; and Florence, wife of Charles R. Smith, St. Michael. Matthew was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired welder from Bethlehem Steel Corp. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where vigil will be held Sunday evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Summerhill, Father Leon Hont, OSB, Celebrant and organist, Matt’s son, Charles V. Petrunak.
