WALKER – Marzy David, 58, Mount Hope (South Fork), passed away peacefully at home. Born March 7, 1962, in Johnstown, son of Sylvia (Rhine) Wertz.
Preceded in death by wife, Paulette J. (Susko) Walker, who died December 4, 2017; stepfather, Joseph T. Wertz; and stepson, Charles R. Krens.
Survived by mother, Mount Hope; son, Justin Walker, Mount Hope; stepdaughter, Dessa (Dave) McCurdy, Indiana; grandchildren, Rylee Joscak and Alyssa, Kylie, Eric, and Addison McAfee; and brother, K. Scott Wertz and wife Shelly, Mount Hope.
He worked in the printing department of the Tribune – Democrat for many years. Growing up Dave loved the farm life and being outdoors. He would often walk the trails behind the house to visit his mother. Dave was a proud collector of cards (mainly baseball) and coins. He also enjoyed his Thursday poker nights and being around friends.
A memorial service will be scheduled for later this Summer.
