Mary Lou Michaels

MICHAELS – Mary Lou, 63, Richland, formerly of Daisytown, went to be with the Lord September 27, 2020, at home. Born January 1, 1957, in Johnstown, daughter of Lawrence E. and Helen M. (Baronie) Michaels.

Preceded in death by parents; sister, Sara Ann; and brother, John.

Survived by sister, Carol, wife of John Wertz, Tallahassee, Florida; brothers, Ed, James, and Terry, all of Johnstown; special niece, Tammy; and many other beloved nieces and nephews.

Mary Lou was a former cook at the Ebensburg State School. She enjoyed working on puzzles and loved traveling, especially trips to Disney World. Her kind and gentle spirit will be remembered among family and friends.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Pastor Jim Gay of the Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship, presiding.

Inurnment at Oak Cemetery, Daisytown; will be at a later date.
