Mary Louise Aliquo

ALIQUO – Mary Louise, 86, Ehrenfeld, died in her home, October 5, 2016, under the care of her family and hospice. Born March 1, 1930, in Ehrenfeld, daughter of Joseph and Cecelia (Units) “Sciamanna” Shuman.

Preceded in death by parents; husband, Domenick “Mickey” Aliquo, who died March 7, 1984; daughter, Anita; sisters, Esther Maskal, Cecelia Shuman and Josephine Christ; and brothers, Louie and Petey.

Survived by son, Dominic “Mickey;” daughters, Bernadette Aliquo; and Denise Ruddeck, all of Ehrenfeld; and Mary, wife of Jeff McAfee, Ellwood City; grandchildren, Jamie (Jason) Blando and Sean (Erika) McAfee; great-grandchildren, Madison and Benjamin Blando and Dominic McAfee; sister, Linda, wife of Michael Repko, Parma, Ohio; and brother, Pete, married to Janet (Betz), Manville, New Jersey.

Mary had a loving and kind heart and found the best in everyone. She made the best out of any situation no matter how bad it was. She always placed everyone first, with no regard for herself. She was the best mother in the world. She now sleeps in heavenly peace tonight and for eternity.

Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc. South Fork. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Johns Catholic Church, Summerhill, by Fr. Leon Hont, OSB.

Committal, St. Marys Cemetery, New Germany.
