Hudson - Marie Ann, 92, Sidman, went peacefully to be with the Lord June 28, 2024. Born February 10, 1932 daughter of John and Ann (Sikora) Keselak. Preceded in death by parents; beloved husband of 54 years, John G. Hudson; sister, Helen E. (Keselak) Kopchik; brother, John Keselak.
Survived by sister, Ethel Mae Keselak; daughters, Cindy (Barry) Hamady, Debbie (Rick) Miller, Pam (John) Carroll, Kim Hostetler; grandchildren, Barry (Marcia) Hamady, Autumn (Dan) Beyer, Dr. Brady Hamady, Kayla (Jesse) Scott, Jenna (Dustin) Izing, Shelby Hostetler, Skyler Hostetler; great-grandchildren, Tyson, Peyton, Mylee, Brooklyn, Hayden, Ashlyn, Liana, Eli; and special friend, Sam Johnson.
Marie was a 1950 graduate of Adams Township High School. She was an excellent cook, and even better baker. If you visited Marie, you weren’t going away hungry! She was a very caring, generous and hardworking person who put others first. Her entire family got together to decorate hundreds and hundreds of sugar cookies for Christmas each year. Marie was also an accomplished seamstress and sewed everything from altar cloths to Halloween costumes. She was our babysitter, advisor, #1 cheerleader, and best friend….greatest mom ever!
Funeral Liturgy will be held 10:00 AM Monday at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Cambria City, Reverend Monsignor Raymond A. Balta, celebrant. Committal, Richland Mausoleum. Arrangements by Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to AseraCare Hospice Care c/o Amedisys Foundation. 100 CTC Drive, Suite 110, Johnstown, PA 15904 in Marie’s memory.
