Margaret Rachael

RACHAEL – Margaret, 99, Richland, formerly of Llanfair; died February 8, 2022, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born September 27, 1922, in Dunlo, the last surviving child of Stephen R. and Mary (Cingel) Rachael. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Ann Rachael, Mary Cooper, and Helen Regan; and brothers, Michael, John, Adam, Peter, Nicholas, Stephen, George, and Joseph.

Survived by sister-in-law, Kathy Rachael; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a graduate of Adams Township High School, class of 1940. She served as a member of the of the United States Cadet Nurse Corps from 1943 to 1947 and retired as a Registered Nurse from Providence Hospital in Washington DC in 1989. Member of Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Dunlo; Nurses Association of Providence Hospital, and the Dunlo American Legion.

Visitation from 10 a.m. until Panachida at 11:15 a.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.

Divine Liturgy at noon Friday at Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Dunlo; Reverend Father James Spontak, celebrant.

Committal, Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Cemetery, Dunlo.
