Margaret L. "Peggy" New

NEW – Margaret L. “Peggy,” 73, Mount Hope, died December 10, 2023. Born October 10, 1950, daughter of Donald and Pauline (Pennington) Martin. Preceded in death by first husband, Thomas Cogley; and second husband, Thomas New.

Survived by sons, Gary and Mike Cogley; granddaughter, Alyssa Cogley; siblings, Barbara Sander (Terry), Paulette Hassell (Ronald), Donald Martin (Stacy), Arthur Martin (Evie), Timothy Martin (Lynn), and Diane Fulkman (Brian); dear niece, Julie; and numerous other beloved nieces and nephews.

Peggy was a member of Mount Hope Community Church. She was a retired pharmacy tech from Conemaugh. She cherished spending time with family and friends. Her sweet and lighthearted nature will be missed by all who loved her.

Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, December 11 at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.

Visitation at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 12 at Mount Hope Community Church; the Reverend Joseph Stains, presiding.

Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery.
