BOWEN – Margaret “Marge”, 82, South Fork, died March 15, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 5, 1935, in South Fork, daughter of Phillip and Nellie (Stenich) Concel.
Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Mary Kolarawski, Kathryn Rindo and Ann Bulvin; and brothers, John, Michael and Andrew Colton.
Survived by loving husband of 61 years, William D. Bowen, whom she married June 9,1956; son, William R., married to Chris Wright, Powhatan, Virginia; daughters, Sharon, wife of Brian Wilson, Summerhill; and Connie, wife of Michael Kiser, Lancaster; grandchildren, Kevin (Kate) Wilson, Scott (Kristin) Wilson, Caitlin and Caley Bowen and Michael and Lauren Kiser; great grandchildren, Kane, Huck and Penn Wilson; brothers, George (Carm) Colton, South Fork and Carl (Pati) Concel, Johnstown; and in-laws, Denny (Dorothy) Bowen, South Fork and Carole Yeager, Sidman.
Marge was a graduate of Johnstown High School Class of 1953, she worked for Acme Market and Stineman Ribbon & Trophy Company. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, South Fork where she taught Sunday School and was the Church Treasurer for 35 years. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed shopping at the Galleria Mall, butterflies and planting flowers in her gardens. She was the world’s best shopper, bargain hunter and couponer! SHE WAS THE BEST WIFE EVER!!!
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. Viewing also at Wesley United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday by Rev. Arlene Bobrowicz. Entombment, Richland Mausoleum.
