Mae C. Pahel

PAHEL – Mae C., 95, South Fork, died January 9, 2022, at Windber Woods. Born January 1, 1927, in Johnstown, daughter of Harry John and Olive Sarah (Helsel) Morgart. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Charles T. Pahel, who died September 26, 1977; infant son, Charles K. Pahel; sisters, Nancy Cox, Elizabeth Gilpatrick, Emma Keller, and Virginia Buksa; and brothers, Robert, John, Ed, and Marshall Morgart.

Survived by daughter, Penny, wife of Ronald Manges; grandson, Charles, married to Courtney (Conto); and great-grandsons, Michael, and Anthony, all of Murrysville; special nieces and nephews, Wendy Lethbridge, Fort Myers, Florida; Jim Mangus, married to Miriam (Lawhead), South Fork, Melissa, wife of Bill Cannada; Johnstown; best friend, Haley Cannada, Johnstown; and numerous other beloved family and friends.

Mae enjoyed gardening and cherished family trips to the cottage at Raystown Lake. She leaves a lasting legacy of love to all who were blessed to know her.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork; the Reverend Randolph Landman presiding.

Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery.
