Leona A. Barefoot

BAREFOOT – Leona Annette, 84, Sidman, passed away December 19, 2017 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born November 27, 1933, in Lloydell, daughter of Joseph Petrun Sr. and Anna Agnes (Voytko) Petrun-Estok.

Preceded in death by parents; husband, Dean M. Barefoot, who died August 29, 2017; son, Robert J. Barefoot; stepfather, John Estok; infant brother, Michael; brother, Joseph Petrun Jr.; sisters, Ann Beebout, Mary McGrane, Helen Ondrejcak, Catherine Muccioli, Margaret Petrun, and Mildred Campbell.

Survived by children, Cheryl, wife of Donald Grow, South Fork; Barry and his wife Jo, Green Valley, Arizona; and Debra, wife of Ronald Enos, Belsano; daughter-in-law, Kathleen (Stein) Barefoot, Littlestown; grandchildren, Jennifer (Barefoot), wife of Chad Mondorff; Lisa Ann (Barefoot), wife of Chuck Waggoner; Sherry (Grow), wife of Mike Hautz; Dawnetta (Grow), wife of Keith Hoyer; Mark D. Grow; Tracy (Enos), wife of Mitch Waldstein; and Clint Enos, married to Jamie (Hess); 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Agnes Salek, Glendale, New York; Elizabeth Doyle, Elmhurst, New York; and Martha Collins, Ebensburg.

Leona was a member of St. Michael United Methodist Church, St. Michael. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of funeral and remembrance service for both Leona and Dean at 11 a.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, the Rev. John D. Hollis officiating.

Private interment, Mount Hope Cemetery.
