Lanna Jean Kick

KICK – Lanna Jean, 43, Portage, passed away March 22, 2025. Born October 13, 1981, in Johnstown; daughter of Larry W. Kick and Cynthia L. (Spanogle) Kick-Units. Preceded in death by father, and stepfather, Mario J. Units Sr.

Survived by mother; daughter, Ivy Kick; sisters, Clare (Mike Eckenrode); Crystal (Damian Krisko); and Shannon (Jason Mandichak); and nieces and nephews, Taylor Bohrer, Brett Eckenrode, Lakin, Chase, Reis, and Austen Krisko, and Lexi Mandichak.

Lanna found beauty in the ordinary. Her passion for collecting, restoring, and sharing was a reflection of her heart—a heart that cared deeply for the world around her, even if she couldn’t always care for herself in the way she deserved. She adored dogs, treasuring their loyalty and unconditional love. Lanna will forever remain in our hearts, woven into every quiet act of grace and kindness, and etched into every memory of how her presence made the world a brighter place.

Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. Saturday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork; the Reverend Pat Walsh presiding.
