FLECK – Kyle Joseph, 31, Wilkes-Barre, formerly of St. Michael, died December 6, 2020. Born August 21, 1989, in Johnstown, son of James A. and Theresa L. (Bertolino) Fleck. Preceded in death by beloved mother; and paternal grandparents, Harold and Inda (Cummings) Fleck.
Survived by father, St. Michael; sister, Sarah L. Fleck, wife of Patrick S. Hayes, Paso Robles, California; grandparents, Charles and Mary Ann (Trotter) Bertolino; uncle, Anthony Bertolino; aunt, Paula Price; cousins, Ethan Bertolino and Jay Price; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Member of St. Michael Catholic Church. Kyle was a graduate of Forest Hills, class of 2007 and earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Lycoming College in 2011. He had a lifelong interest in botany and never stopped learning new things about plants. He was a talented musician who played numerous instruments and enjoyed his time as a member of the Forest Hills Community Band.
Known for his vibrance and ability to light up a room, Kyle was a loving, accepting, authentic, and selfless person. He was always available to help a friend in need. Kyle loved entertaining, he made friends everywhere he went, and no one ever felt left out around him.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church, the Reverend Monsignor David Lockard, Celebrant.
