KILLINGER – Justin L., 44, South Fork, died June 2, 2023, at Conemaugh Hospital. Born October 27, 1978, in Johnstown.
Survived by parents, Bill and Liz (Anderson) Killinger; soulmate, Lisa Kanuch; son, Bryce; daughter, Shayla; brothers, Josh (Tara); and Chris (Amanda); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and dog, Jake.
His pride truly beamed from his face and heart when he spoke of his children and their accomplishments. Everyone knew they were his life. He was definitely an animal lover because he was always bringing pets home to add to the family, but Jake was by far his best friend. He was always listening to music especially while working out or playing a very competitive game of cornhole which, he usually won. He was the realest person you could meet. He never hid his flaws or demons. His charismatic and energetic personality as well as his funny quick-witted, loud, and unfiltered mouth would draw people to him. And you would find yourself laughing at inappropriate things at inappropriate times at places you shouldn’t. His laugh and smile were infectious. He was a lovable, stubborn, strong-willed man who was a born leader and would help anyone he could; even by giving them the shirt off his back. He also loved reading, walking, fishing, kayaking, camping, and anything outdoors. Justin’s final gift was donating his organs to CORE so that others might live.
Honoring his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements by Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc.
