Jeffrey W. Myers

MYERS – Jeffrey W., 73, Mount Hope, passed away peacefully at home. Born November 10, 1945, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Fern L. (Myers) Zivkovich.

Survived by loving wife of 49 years, Bonnie (Balko) Myers, whom he married July 18, 1970; daughter, Heather, wife of John Shaffer, Elton; and son Ryan, married to Julie (Keith), Lakemont; cherished grandchildren, Austin and Brinnah Porada and Madelyn Myers; and brother-in-law, Rudy “Allen,” married to Mollie (Moyer), Indiana.

Jeff was a graduate of Adams-Summerhill High School, class of 1964. He worked for Bethlehem Steel, Republic Technologies International, and Kuchera Industries. He was an avid reader, enjoyed relaxing in his recliner, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial graveside service at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 19, at Mount Hope Cemetery, 258 Mount Hope Road, South Fork, the Reverend Joseph Stains presiding.
