PLUMMER – Jane A., 89, Summerhill, died May 19, 2018 at Windber Hospice. Born August 27, 1928, in Mineral Point, daughter of Lawrence and Grace (Burns) Kimmel.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Raymond R. “Pop” Plummer Sr., who died August 27, 2002; son, Raymond Plummer Jr.; sister, Rosemary Anderson; brothers, John, Richard and James Kimmel; and son-in-law, Thomas Malchesky.
Survived by children, Janet, wife of George Minor, Salix; Barbara Malchesky, Albemarle, North Carolina; William, married to Betty (Surkosky), Summerhill; Donald, married to Marie Jo (Mutch) Summerhill; Lawrence, married to Maryann (Kovalchik), Etters; Kenneth, married to Ann (Burns), Summerhill; Debra, wife of Brian Kundrod, Denver, Pennsylvania; and Mary Ann, wife of Charles Tedjeske, Summerhill; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Ford, Mineral Point; and Rita Gideon, Jacksonville, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.
Jane was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael. She enjoyed playing pinochle, was a talented cook and was known for her wonderfully delicious cakes. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and cherished her beloved grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where vigil will be held at 3 p.m. Monday.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Fr. Brian Warchola, Celebrant.
Committal, St. Bartholomew Catholic Cemetery, Wilmore.
