MANGES – James L., 79, South Fork, died March 6, 2023. Born September 13, 1943, in South Fork, son of Ray and Rosanna (Theys) Manges. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Carole (Krajewski): infant brother, Ray Jr.; and sisters, Dorothy “Doll” Senft and Anna Mae Moran.
Survived by children, Wendy Lethbridge; James Mangus (Miriam); and Melissa Cannada; grandchildren, Kathleen (Kyle), James, Jared, Haley, Tyler, and Brennen; great-grandchildren, Xavier, Bella, and Milez; brother, Charles “Ron,” (Penny); and special friend, Janice Seecs.
Graduate of South Fork Croyle High School, class of 1961. Jim was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and worked as a self-employed carpenter. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed attending auctions. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren; and always looked forward to trips with family and friends to his cottage in Huntingdon.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork; Pastor Dawn Davis, presiding.
