JOLL – Jacqueline A. “Jackie,” 79, passed away peacefully March 11, 2025, with loved ones by her side. Born January 5, 1946, in South Fork, daughter of the late Luther D. “Luke” and Josephine (Knese) Joll.
Survived by dear friend, Shirley Olsick and the Olsick family, who helped care for her; friends, JoAnn Mackel, Paula Brummert, and Cookie Harris, and many others.
Jackie, a proud 1963 graduate of Triangle Area High School, spent her career overseeing the laundry department at Laurel Crest until retirement. There was nothing quite like the sparkle in her eyes when she pulled the lever on a slot machine, marked her bingo card, or scratched a lottery ticket—though the real thrill came from winning. Luck seemed to follow her! She was also an incredible bowler, an avid Steelers and Pirates fan, and who could forget the fun she had on the dance floor? We will always remember her infectious laughter, her fierce competitive spirit, and the way she made everything a little brighter simply by being herself. She taught us all how to enjoy life to the fullest, to celebrate the wins, and to find joy in the simplest of moments.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday March 19 at South Fork Cemetery, Pastor Linda Freeburg presiding. Arrangements by Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
