PENROD - Howard F. Sr., 64, Richland, formerly of South Fork, died December 6, 2017, at Richland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born April 24, 1953, in Johnstown, son of Daniel F. “Jake” Jr. and Doris Jean (Fetterman) Penrod. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Johnny R.; sister, Linda Clawson; and mother-in-law, Betty (Baumgardner) Miller.
Survived by loving wife of 32 years, Donna J. (Miller) Penrod, whom he married November 29, 1985; step-mother, Hazel (Turner) Penrod, both of Richland; daughter, Amanda, fiancée of Shawn Smith, Portage; son, Howard Jr., and partner Destiny Tyger, Parkhill; grandson Landon, at home; sisters, Debra, wife of Douglas Kamler; and Tina, wife of Scott Douglas; father-in-law, Robert Miller, all of South Fork; and step-siblings, Judy Manges, Hooversville; Richard Walker, Alum Bank; Carol Perigo, Stoystown; Raymond Walker, Ashtabula, Ohio; Patricia Wildmann, Stoystown; Reuben Walker Jr., Annawink, North Carolina; Lois Charlton, Stoystown; Barbara Charlton, Freidens; and Bobby Walker, Windber.
Howard was a member of South Fork First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed relaxing on his porch, tinkering around the house and watching old home movies.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
Viewing will also be held at South Fork First United Methodist Church from 10 a.m until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Terry Trudgen officiating.
Interment South Fork Cemetery.
