Holly Sue Murvine

MURVINE – Holly Sue, 45, Johnstown, died June 7, 2022 at UPMC Shadyside, following treatment for brain cancer.
Born December 10, 1976, in Indiana, daughter of Joy (Johns) Silvis.
Preceded in death by mother, grandfather, George Johns, uncle, Wade Johns, and cousin, Jackie.
Survived by husband, Christopher C. Murvine; sons, Cody and Michael; sister, Melissa Winters; brother, Harlan Silvis Jr.; grandmother who raised her, Loretta Johns; stepfather, Harlan Silvis Sr., stepdaughter, Mindy Murvine; and step grandson, Damien.
Holly was a graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech, class of 1995. She served in the United States Navy and was a licensed cosmetologist. She was known for her beautiful knitting and crochet work, was an avid reader and loved riding horses.
Friends will gather at the church on Monday June 20th from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Parkview Alliance Church, St. Michael, Pastor Patrick Walsh presiding. Military rites by St. Michael American Legion Post 551. Arrangements by Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc.
