SMITH – Helen Jane, 91, New Germany, died December 23, 2016, at home. Born April 20, 1925, in New Germany, daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Long) Smith.
Preceded in death by parents; seven brothers, Vincent, Clement, Cletus, Benno, Thomas, Father Julian Smith, O.S.B., and Father Ermin Smith, O.S.B.; and three sisters, Mary Chirdon, Sister M. Basil Smith, R.S.M., and Sister M. Matthew Smith, R.S.M.
Survived by sister, Elizabeth Ryan, New Germany; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Honoring her wishes there will be no viewing or visitation.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Germany, by Father Leon Hont, O.S.B.
Inurnment, St. Marys Cemetery, New Germany.
