McCALL – Helen I., 83, Summerhill, died Oct. 22, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 17, 1932, in Cresson, daughter of Joseph and Margaret R. (Bertram) Gibbons. Preceded in death by parents; husband, James J. McCall, who died Aug. 25, 2004; and brother, William Gibbons. Survived by daughters, Gail, wife of Dr. James Koban, and their children, J.R., Michael and Julie, Portage; and Karen, wife of Rodney Kundrod, and their children, Kristen, Evan and Dylan, Sidman; son, James, married to Tammy Davis, and their children, Sydney and Hailey, Raleigh, N.C.; and brother, Robert, married to Mary Lois Kelly, Lake Placid, Fla. Helen was well known for her hand dipped chocolate candy. She was a former secretary for 10 years at Cresson High School. Member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Summerhill, and its’ Altar Rosary Society; former secretary for St. Mary’s Cemetery Association; and member of Forest Hills Senior Center and Pinochle Club of Summerhill for many years. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where rosary will be said at 3 p.m. and vigil for the deceased will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Catholic Church, Father Leon Hont, OSB. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Germany. ( www.dimondfuneralhome.com )
