PENROD – Hazel C., 89, formerly of South Fork, died March 28, 2018, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born April 30, 1928, in Harrison Township, Bedford; daughter of John and Pearl (Moury) Turner.
Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Reuben Walker; second husband Daniel F. “Jake” Penrod; daughter, Barbara Charlton; sons, Ronald and Randy Walker; grandson, Frankie Walker; great-grandson, Travis Maluchnik; brothers, Ralph and Blair Turner; and step-children, Linda Clawson, and Johnny and Howard Penrod.
Survived by children, Judy, wife of Larry Manges, Hooversville; Richard, married to Florence (Kmetz), Alum Bank; Carol, wife of Carmen Perigo, Stoystown; Raymond, married to Kathy Latak, Ashtabula, Ohio; Patty, wife of Donald Wildenmann, Stoystown; Reuben Jr., married to Flora (Sehn), Annawink, North Carolina; Lois, wife of Donald Charlton Jr., Stoystown; and Robert, married to Melissa (Kohan), Windber; step-daughters, Debra, wife of Douglas Kamler; and Tina, wife of Scott Douglas, both of South Fork; sister, Lucy Penrod, New York; brother, Paul Turner, Idaho; sister-in-law, Nancy Turner; and step daughter-in-law, Donna Penrod; 39 grandchildren, 38 great and 10 great great grandchildren.
Hazel was a member of South Fork First United Methodist Church. Her loving, kind and generous spirit will live on in the hearts of her beloved family.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
Viewing will also be held at South Fork First United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Reverend Terry Trudgen officiating.
Interment South Fork Cemetery.
