HOFFMAN – Harry D. “Gutch”, 82, St. Michael, died January 10, 2020, at Windber Hospice.
Born April 16, 1937, in St. Michael, son of Dibert and Pauline (Dick) Hoffman.
Preceded in death by parents; brother, Bill; and sister, Bernice Dusack. Survived by children, Harry (Krystal), Elton; Terry (Danielle), St. Michael; Adam (Karen), St. Michael; Laurie (Dean Geibel), Richland; and Cathy (Jim Klucik), Windber; grandchildren, Alexa, Avana, Trinity, Amanda, Danelle, Brayden, Kaylee and Brock; and 5 great-grandchildren. Brother of Earl, St. Michael; Barbara, St. Michael; and Jack, Sidman; and former wife, Betty Martin, St. Michael.
Former social member of Beaverdale American Legion and Franklin VFW. Harry enjoyed gardening, car shows, the outdoors, camping and fishing. In the springtime, you could always find him relaxing, sitting on his front porch swing.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, the Reverend Pat Walsh, presiding. Interment, Dunlo U.M. Cemetery. www.DimondFuneralHome.com
