Gregory S. Hershberger Sr.

HERSHBERGER – Gregory S. Sr., 63, Belsano, formerly of Mount Hope; passed away November 27, 2020 at Cambria Care Center. Born May 30, 1957 in Johnstown, son of the late Jay L. and Hannah J. (Holdsworth) Hershberger.

Survived by sons, Gregory S. Jr., married to Nicole (Porch), Belsano; and Jay L, married to Christy (Shaffer), Salix; daughter, Rebecca, wife of Chris Wagner, Ferndale; twelve grandchildren; brothers, Jay L., married to Vicki (Varner); Joseph C.; Jan R., married to Mikiko (Taki); and Jed D., married to Jean (Miller); all of Mount Hope; and former wife, Charlotte Baker, Ebensburg.

Member of Mount Hope United Methodist Church. Greg was a retired welder from Johnstown America Corporation, Car Shop Division and a member of United Steelworkers. He was a skilled mechanic and enjoyed working on cars, watching the Steelers, and cherished spending time with his grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, the Reverend Gustav C. Hautz of Wesley United Methodist Church presiding.

Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery.
