LONG-FRESCH – Glenda Jean (Reese), 80, Summerhill, went to be with her Lord August 30, 2019, at Richland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born June 28, 1939, in South Fork.
Preceded in death by mother, Beatrice “Beatie” (Reese); step-father, Corneilous “C.S.” "Neil" Gochnour; grandparents, Georgehener (Tomes) and John Reese; first husband, Franklin W. Fresch, who died September 10, 1978; second husband, Clair C. Long, who died August 11, 2019; brother, Brian Gochnour; and sister, Mary Jane Chambers.
Survived by sons, Gregory Fresch, Pensacola, Florida; Douglas Fresch, married to Ruth (Boyle), Mineral Point; and Randall Fresch, Carlisle; step-children, Sandra, wife of Edward Sisenwain, Pittsburgh; Daniel, married to Robbie (Seabolt), Bowie, Maryland; Thomas, married to Dennis Gosnell, Denver, Colorado; Patrice, wife of Phillip Shaffer, Winter Haven, Florida; Beverly Mitchell, Charles Town, West Virginia; Bruce, Ladysmith, Wisconsin; Valerie, wife of Matthew Jones, Franklin, Pennsylvania; and Jude, married to Jennifer (Rowell), Jensen Beach, Florida; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nineteen step-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.
Glenda was a graduate of South Fork Croyle High School, class of 1957. She was a member of Beaverdale Alliance Church and a retired clerk from the Cambria County Assistance Office.
She was an avid tennis player and loved spending time with friends and family.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, the Reverend Dan Hammond presiding.
