BULVIN – Gerald P. “Jerry,” 75, Johnstown, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully February 21, 2025, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born March 1, 1949, in South Fork, son of the late Stanley L. and Stella F. (Cyburt) Bulvin.
Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Kathleen, M. (Mihalich) Bulvin; brother, Robert B. Bulvin; daughter, Leanne Debias (Tim); son, Brad Bulvin (Kelly); granddaughters, Kylie (Corey) and Paige Debias; and grandsons, Evan and Ethan Bulvin; niece, Deborah Hittie (Paul), and nephew, Aaron Bulvin (Jena).
Jerry graduated from Forest Hills High School in 1967 and Penn State University in 1971. For 30 years, he served as a dedicated math teacher at Westmont Hilltop School District. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially springtime, hunting turkey and fishing Bob’s Creek. He was a talented woodworker, known for gifting his beautiful birdfeeders and intricately crafted intarsia artwork.
Honoring his wishes, visitation will be private. Family and friends will be received at the church from 10 a.m. until celebration of Mass at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, South Fork, Father Joseph C. Nale, celebrant. Committal, St. Marys Cemetery, New Germany. Arrangements by Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
