George A. Hudson

HUDSON – George A., 71, Spanaway, Washington; formerly of South Fork; died October 15, 2022, at home. Born September 21, 1951, in Johnstown, son of John and Helen M. (Kentula) Hudson. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Linda (Kimball) Hudson, who died December 8, 2001; and brothers, John G. Hudson and Michael J. Hudson.

Survived by sister, Jacquelene, wife of Carl Granger, Brandy Station, Virginia; sisters-in-law, Marie (Kesslak) Hudson, Sidman; and Cathy (White) Hudson, South Fork, nieces, Diana Hudson; Laura (Granger), wife of John Wood, and their son, Leyton; Carol Granger; Terri (Granger), wife of Scott O’Brien, and their children, Tegan, Piper, and Laney; Cindy (Hudson), wife of Barry Hamady, and their children, Autumn (Hamady), wife of Dan Beyer, Barry Hamady and wife Marcia, and Dr. Brady Hamady and Samuel Johnson; Debbie (Hudson), wife of Richard Miller; Pamela (Hudson), wife of John Carroll, and their children, Kayla (Springer), wife of Jessie Scott and Jenna (Springer), wife of Dustin Izing; and Kim (Hudson) Hostetler, and her children, Shelby and Skyler; nephew, David Kimball; and George’s companion, Margaret “Penny” Lindenmuth.

Graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 1969. US Air Force, Ret., having served from 1971 – 1991. Following his military career, George worked as an electrician for Valley Electrical Co. His pastimes were spent fishing, camping, mountain climbing, motorcycling, and working on old cars with his friend Calvin.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday October 21st at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork; and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday October 22nd, the Reverend Randy Landman presiding.

Interment, South Fork Cemetery. Military graveside service by St. Michael American Legion Post 551.
