Gary J. Miller

MILLER – Gary J., 78, Sidman, died July 25, 2022, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. Born January 16, 1944, in Salix, son of Joseph J. and Lola (Hoffman) Miller.
Preceded in death by parents; wife, Charlotte L. (Black) Miller, who died November 26, 2014; infant daughter, Kimberly Ann; sisters, Violet, Diane, and Arlene; and brothers, Duane and Jackie.
Survived by son, Gary Richard Miller, Sidman; daughter, Christina Plaza-Rupert, wife of Daniel Rupert, St. Michael; grandchildren, Brady Joseph Plaza and Alayna Rose Plaza; sisters, Sherry Keenan (Michael), Winchester, Virginia; and Marilynn Burkey, Salix; and numerous family and friends.
Gary was a 1962 graduate of Adams Township High School. He was a member of Salix Bethel UMC. Gary owned and operated Miller Auto Body in Sidman for 50 years and was a classic car enthusiast. He was an avid baseball and football fan, especially the Pirates and Steelers, had a love of fishing and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Salix Bethel United Methodist Church, his son-in-law, Daniel Rupert, officiating.
