Flossie C. Plows

PLOWS – Flossie C., 78, South Fork, went to be with the Lord December 1, 2020 at home. Born September 28, 1942 in Beaverdale, daughter of Flossie C. (Mock) Crum-Burkett and Francis Burkett Sr.

Preceded in death by parents; beloved husband, Charles P. Plows, who died July 27, 1991; infant brother, David Ray; sister, Mary Wachter; brothers, Francis A. Jr. and Charles E. Burkett; and half-brother, Wilbert G. Crum.

Survived by daughter, Linda Plows; and son, Charles A. Plows, both of South Fork; sister, Claire, wife of William Jeske, Johnstown; brothers, Kenneth Burkett, Nanty Glo; and Gary O’Connell, Philadelphia; numerous nieces and nephews; dear friend, Theresa; and grandfur babies, Tiger, Cuddles, and Midnight.

Flossie loved family gatherings and spending time with her children. She enjoyed word search puzzles, watching her favorite television shows, and roller skating in her younger years.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Reverend Jerome Kennedy presiding.

Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery.
