SOFLARSKY – Ethel P., 91, South Fork, died October 4, 2020, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born May 18, 1929, in Johnstown, daughter of Paul and Margaret (Asick) Peters.
Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Andrew S. Kishlock; second husband, Stanley J. “Stush” Soflarsky; son, Steven A. Kishlock; infant sister, Helen; sisters, Emma Peters, Hazel Hofecker, and Margaret Corliss; and brothers, Frank, Ray, and Paul Peters.
Survived by son, Robert Kishlock, Mineral Point; daughter, Lori wife of Lance Millar, Hummelstown; daughter-in-law, Bonnie (Haney) Kishlock, Johnstown; brother, William (Loretta) Peters, Irwin; beloved grandchildren, Nicole (Jamie) Weakland, Rachel (Kenny) Kishlock, Patrick (Carrie) Kishlock, and Hudson, Lucas, and Hope Millar; and great-grandchildren, Mason, Noah, Ava, Zena, McKenzie, and Ainslee.
Ethel was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, South Fork; and the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Ehrenfeld; where she was active with their Altar & Rosary Society. She was known for her beautiful crochet work, delicious baked goods, and her wonderful cooking. She lived a full and loving life and though we are saddened by her passing, we find comfort knowing she has rejoined those loved ones who went before her and whom she has longed to see again.
Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Father Joseph C. Nale, Celebrant.
