SLIKO – Elizabeth, 103, Fifficktown, passed away peacefully December 25, 2021, at home, surrounded by family. Born April 24, 1918, in Summerhill, daughter of Fred and Mary (Warhol) Urda.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Stanley A. “Tucka” Sliko Sr., who died November 4, 1992; son, Stanley A. “Stush” Sliko Jr.; grandson, Barry Bassett; sisters, Helen Houck, Julia Navatsyk, Anna Gregovich, and Mary Labosh; and brothers, Fred, Andrew, Joseph, John, and Peter.
Survived by granddaughters, Cheri Units, Kelly Long (Bob), Kathy Josephson, Kerri Langham (Kirk), and Patty Ressler (Jerry); grandson, Jeff Bassett; thirteen great grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Carole (Reighard) Sliko; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, South Fork. Member of Forest Hills Senior Center, and honorary first member of South Fork Historical Society. She leaves a lasting legacy of love to all who were blessed to know her.
Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday December 27, 2021, at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday December 28, 2021, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Father Joseph C. Nale, celebrant.
Committal, St. Anthony Cemetery, Fifficktown.
