Elaine Ruth Miller

MILLER – Elaine Ruth, 81, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord March 9, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 12, 1939, in South Fork, daughter of William and Mabel (Gramling) Russell. Preceded in death by parents; and loving husband, Samuel R. Miller, who died October 22, 2011.

Survived by daughters, Robin Wanko and Wendy Miller-Helman, wife of Robert Helman, both of Johnstown; and son, Bryon, married to Jacqueline (Killinger), Ewa Beach, Hawaii; grandchildren, Kristoffer Miller and Jonah, Noah, Micah, and Sarah Wanko; brother, Ronald, married to Marion (Roberts), Mount Hope; and sisters, Donna Jean, wife of Gary Lester, Tracy’s Landing, Maryland; and Karen, wife of Ramon Neri, South Fork.

Elaine was a graduate of South Fork - Croyle High School, class of 1957 and member of Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and Sarah’s favorite “G-ma.” She adored her dogs Nettie and Angel and her grandpups, Zoey, Ryn, Riley, Pebbles, and Oscar. Her loving memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Thursday March 11, 2021 at Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship, Pastors Jim Gay and Gary Tustin officiating.

Interment, South Fork Cemetery.
